The Furnace Belt Company Is Proud To Introduce Balance Extra Flat (BEF) Weave

Since 1972, Furnace Belt has manufactured a wide range of conveyor belt options. We attribute our longevity to our commitment to offering customers the most innovative woven-metal conveyor belting products and services. Dedicated to providing top-notch belting solutions to fit almost any high- or low-temperature conveying application, we are proud to announce our newest line of round-wire woven metal belting:balance extra flat (BEF) weave.

Simply stated, BEF is the flattest, balanced weave available on the market today. Constructed from two spiral wire diameters and one cross-rod wire diameter, BEF offers just a hair of clearance to allow the mesh to be properly assembled. With its extra-flat surface, this new weave presents almost no unwanted stretch or camber compared with our standard weave products. Therefore, our BEF weave reduces equipment upkeep costs and project downtime, as there is less need for performing those painful, but often necessary, maintenance activities, such as shortening a stretched belt. This flat, thin wire mesh is the perfect solution for most high-temperature or heavy-duty woven steel conveyor belting applications – the same projects where low-cost maintenance is key.

When sourcing solutions for projects that require high-temperature conveyor belting, we urge you to consider our new BEF weave product over either standard balanced or double balanced belting.
